Keira Knightley was an absolutely adorable bride when she and James Righton tied the knot this weekend. Knightley wore flats, a classic Chanel jacket, and a short, tulle Chanel wedding dress that looks exactly like a Rodarte gown Knightley was photographed in a few years back. How's that for a low-maintenance bride?!
Only a handful of guests attended the ceremony in a small French village, but more were rumored to be at the reception that night. Judging by the photos of Knightley and her groom, I bet it was a fun party! Why?
No bridezillas! I just love that Knightley looked totally herself for her wedding: her hair was down, she had her sunglasses on, and she appeared happy and relaxed (though an onlooker did tell US Weekly that Knightley cried during the ceremony. Aww!). I bet the focus of the entire day was way more about the beauty, meaning, and FUN of the occasion, rather than on whether the napkins matched the garter belts and how the bride's airbrushed foundation and spray tan were holding up.
No crazy prom hair, no hovering makeup artists -- just two people in love, wearing clothes they felt comfortable (and looked great) in, celebrating the beginning of the rest of their lives together.
