Country singer Kellie Pickler's CMT Awards gown is a total repeat, but you'd never know it. The soft plum colored Jean Fares gown was supposed to be her ACM Awards dress back in May, but she ended up not being able to attend due to a Dancing With the Stars conflict. People reports that when it came time to settle on a CMT dress, Kellie looked no further than her closet, where the unworn dress had been hanging for a month.
And thank goodness she did -- the dress fit her like a glove and beautifully accentuated her toned shoulders and sexy decolletage. The sparkly-shimmeringness was great for the red carpet and really stood out among other guests, who mostly played it safe.
Nicole Kidman wore an unremarkable little black dress, Taylor Swift wore a mullet dress, and Carrie Underwood rocked some shorts.
What really made Kellie shine, though, was her skin. She looked like a glimmering bronzed sculpture and was a winning example of self-tanner and glitter if ever there was one.
Here's hoping the seats at the event weren't white.
Kellie wasn't up for any award last night, but if someone tried to take her home as a trophy, we wouldn't be surprised. She looked so statuesque!
