That's the thing about Taylor Swift, she never stays in the dog house for long. After the mullet dress she wore to the CMT Awards drew criticism, the country star got right back on her feet the next night and stunned on the red carpet at the CMA Music Festival. (Busy week for country artists!) In a fun, flirty, white dress with flower embellishments, Taylor looked fresh and pretty. But when you're twenty-twoOoooOooh, I suppose it's not that hard.
Taylor paired the dress with strappy nude heels and bright red nails. Accessory free, she let her dress and her hair do the talking. Frankly, blonde locks have never looked shinier or more perfect. It's so beautiful, in fact, it looks like a wig.
Ms. Swift kept her makeup soft and fresh -- her light pink lips and light eye shadow accentuated the ethereal feel of the ensemble.
But at this point, Taylor knows what she's doing. White looks great on her, and she's worn it many times. Her floor-length white gown at the People's Choice Awards was flawless, as was the white column dress she wore to the AMAs. Her fun and flirty cream cocktail dress was a hit at the Teen Choice Awards, and her ecru Grecian dress stole the show at this year's Grammys.
Now that it's summer, we'll probably see Taylor in many more white dresses. Here's hoping each one's more beautiful than the next.
