Jessica Alba must have used up all her style juju at the Golden Globes because when she stepped out yesterday, she looked a little odd. The mother of two is usually a fashionable goddess, but she missed the mark with her neon green sandals with white cuffs, her green and black ombre coat, hot orange blouse, and those pants. THOSE PANTS. Are they leggings, actually? They could be, which just makes things even worse.
The oddest part about this ensemble is that she wore it in January. In New York. It was in the 30s here yesterday. What's going on with our beloved Jessica?
Maybe she's acting out against the criticism she may have gotten for going with the boring neutral trend for her Globes dress and decided to go to the other extreme and wear all the colors in the rainbow. This little ensemble she has going on is so over the top, it's hard to know where one disastrous article of clothing ends and another begins.
Jessica is easily one of the chicest ladies in Hollywood -- she usually looks effortlessly cool and pretty -- but this outfit was a flop and a half. Wait. Do you think Honor picked it out for her? Because if so, that's excusable. It makes sense, if you think about it: Jessica looks like Rainbow Brite and Honor could be a fan of the fictional, colorful heroine.
But if her young daughter doesn't have anything to do with her look, then, well, I don't get it.
