It had to happen at some point! Yesterday, just three days into the Winter Olympics at Sochi, a Russian speed skater named OlgaGraf took home the bronze medal in the women's 3,000-meter, only to suffer the first wardrobe malfunction of the games. Actually, it may have been more a malfunction of being so caught up in the moment that she didn't realize what she was doing. Because Olga's fashion faux pas occurred when after waving to the crowd, she unzipped her suit all the way down to her belly button only to reveal, uh, nothing. She was sans underwear!
No big surprise there, but it was still a jaw-dropper that she forgot.
Through a translator, the Olympian explained:
I totally forgot. We have very good suits and they are very tight. ... You just want to breathe and you want to take off your suit. Only afterward did I realize that maybe this video will appear on YouTube. But I don't think it will be so bad.
Ha, poor thing! Well, thankfully, it wasn't so bad. Here, you can see for yourself ...
Meh! Could've been worse, right? At least she had a sunny attitude and chill sense of humor about it. That never ceases to hurt. Neither does winning an Olympic medal!
Do you think people are overreacting to this "wardrobe malfunction"?
