Remember back in her Jerry Maguire days when she was the cute as a button mom next door?
Yeah, well -- that was a long time ago. And now Renee Zellweger's face looks noticeably different again, leading us to wonder whether she's resorted to another round of Botox, fillers, plastic surgery, or some sort of combination of the three.
The photo above was taken back in 2011, when Renee still looked like ... herself.
And this one was taken the other night when she attended a charity event in San Francisco.

What the heck is going on?!?
I mean, she's still beautiful and all -- but she definitely doesn't look natural anymore.
Her latest odd look seems to be part of a vicious cycle, which started when she first stepped out looking all plastic-y at the 2013 Oscars.
You know what they say -- once you start monkeying with your appearance, it gets kind of addictive. Like getting tattoos. (Or so I've heard.)
Maybe she was simply trying to fix her face so it looks like the old Renee again -- which is sadly never going to happen. You can take the natural out of natural, but you certainly can't put it back in.
And it's such a shame, because she was so adorable the way she was! Let's just hope she leaves her face well enough alone from this point forward. It would be really sad if she woke up one day and didn't recognize the person staring back at her in the mirror.
