Looks like Kate Middleton is getting more comfortable with her role as Duchess of Cambridge. The future Queen of England was just seen out and about in a suede coat with fur trim -- and a $1,000 Mulberry bag. Booya. That's what I'm talking about.
I get that Kate is the people's princess. And I love that about her. Every once in a while, I actually feel like I can relate to her -- which says a lot, 'cause dude, the woman's royalty, and I am ... so not. She shops at Zara, I shop at Zara. She recycles her clothes, I recycle my clothes. She does her own makeup, I attempt to do my own makeup. But once in a while I want to see her in something fancy, something I can't afford, because, I don't know, she's a princess and it's fun!
It would break my heart to see my beloved Kate go from totally down-to-earth lady to full-blown diva, dripping in rubies and blood diamonds overnight. But I do get a little bit excited when I see her rocking something a little more posh and glam. I'm not even sure why, 'cause it's only dividing us more. I guess it just seems like it's a preview of the awesomeness to come.
Although she's already a style icon in her own right, Kate Middleton, without question, is going to be one of the world's most influential fashionistas -- just like her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. And even though we're all fascinated with her every hem line and stocking right now, I know she's got a whole unbelievable style arsenal waiting to be unleashed upon the world.
And it starts with a $1,000 Mulberry bag.
Do you think Kate's style is going to change in the next few years, get a little more fancy?
