Catherine Giudici is what I like to call a "good brunette." What I mean by that: her hair color is that perfectly rich cocoa hue that looks just right for her. It works with her skin tone, plays up her exotic features, and -- I think it's safe to say -- is one of her beauty trademarks.
So I was scared when I heard The Bachelor winner and Sean Lowe's wife did something so drastic -- a total brunette sin, if you ask me -- and dyed her dark locks blonde. No, no, no, was my first thought. My second: oh great, another Kim Kardashian hair flop. And my third: ugh, brunette traitor!
But I was wrong, guys. She looks stunning!
Catherine took to her Instagram and posted her "before" shot, which you can see above. She has shiny dark-brown hair with a few medium-brown highlights. It's gorgeous, but it definitely lacks drama -- which isn't a bad thing, mind you.
And then ... drum roll, please ... we get Catherine's summer babe look:
Wowsa -- highlights galore! Catherine posted this picture, which looks like it was taken while her salon chair was still warm, alongside the message: "Dallas Transformation Complete -- (thanks @heatherstouthair)"
I can't believe how much I love it! I wouldn't have been able to picture her with sandy hair, but she went just light enough to make an impact while keeping enough light brown pieces to not wash out her complexion. Her stylist did an amazing job. She looks ready for whatever July and August bring her way.
