The youngest in the Kardashian/Jenner family are ready to capitalize on their oh-so-famous name -- Kylie Jenner, 14, and Kendall Jenner, 16, just inked a deal to design and produce a line of jewelry and accessories. The sisters have teamed up with Glamhouse, a fashion company that helped Nicole Richie launch her line of baubles, and older sister Kim make her jewelry collection called Belle Noel.
With momager Kris Jenner behind them, and with their age-appropriate yet L.A.-chic sense of style, I think Kendall and Kylie are poised for kuccess. Or juccess? "J" for Jenner? Eh, I tried. Anyway, yeah, they're definitely going to be successful.
Even though I'm more than 10 years older than both of these little ones, I admire their style. Kendall and Kylie always look so rad on the red carpet. I'm sure they have a stylist helping them get ready for each and every event, but the teens probably have opinions and a direction in which they want their looks to go. I mean, do you know any teens that just do what they're told without interjecting a whole slew of suggestions and/or demands? Me neither. I 100 percent think they're involved in what and how they're dressed.
The yet-to-be-named collection is set to launch in fall of 2012 and will cost between $20 and $60 retail. If Kendall and Kylie are anything like their sisters, we might expect their line to be called Jenner's Jewels, or Kendall and Kylie's Kostume Kewelry. But hopefully, they'll know better.
It's the first time the young Jenners will be fronting a business of their own, but you know the whole family is going to be giving them their two cents. I'm looking forward to seeing what they put out; I'm optimistic it will be funky yet wearable. One thing's for sure, though. With Kris Jenner managing these two, they'll be everywhere promoting the heck out of their newest venture. Get ready to see more of the Jenner girls!
Do you think Kylie and Kendall will make cool jewelry?
