Victoria Beckham has a lot going for her. She has a super hot husband, a gaggle of cute kids, a successful fashion line, and ball-like breasts that seem to defy gravity. But you know, Vickie's just like us. She makes mistakes sometimes.
Maybe she was exhausted after staying up all night with baby Harper or perhaps she was served some heavy horse sedatives before getting dressed, who knows what her excuse is, but Mrs. Beckham was spotted Monday night wearing one nutty looking outfit.
It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's an ex-Spice Girl wearing what looks to be a half-destroyed sock as a dress and leather leg warmers over sky-high Christian Louboutin heels. And everyone knows that ish don't fly.
Unfortunately, that's not even the worst part. Vickie's look from head to toe is straight off the runway. Her runway. It's a design from her Spring 2012 collection and man on man she is not doing it any favors. The dress and leather leg warmers (what should we call them? leathlegwarms?) looked weird on the model and even weirder on the designer.
Props to Victoria for trying to stay on trend with the use of color blocking, but it wasn't enough to save the outfit. The proportions are all wrong, the fabric looks like it could also be used to make a bathing suit, and the leathlegwarms are enough to make even Jazzercise Barbie cringe with embarrassment.
This photo was snapped as she was on her way to the WWD Apparel & Retail CEO Summit, so I wonder what the other guests at that meeting thought about her ensemble. Maybe they took it as a sign that they didn't have to worry about her company as competition. Or maybe they were so inspired by her look that next season, all we're going to see are tube sock dresses and leathlegwarms. If that's the case ... uh oh.
