Still, it's nice to have a lighter look for summer and the busy mom no doubt needs a 'do that doesn't require hours in a stylist's chair. But some women argue that shorter hair actually demands a lot more attention than long locks that can be swept into a ponytail or updo. Supermodel Paula Porizkova sure is making 50 look hot. Her stylist, Brian Magallones, snapped a few shots of her relaxing in a pool at the St. Regis Hotel in Miami and posted them on Instagram. Even Porizkova was impressed with herself! 

So she tweeted one of the photos with hashtag #fiftynomakeup. The supermodel credits SPF and gravity for her youthful glow. "Only not aged when lying down," she joked to a commenter who said she hadn't aged since he posted photos of her in his dorm room. Um, I think incredibly kind genetics may have helped her out as well?

I think feeling happy and relaxed makes you look more beautiful, too. 

I have mixed feelings about these "she's still got it at 40/45/50/" photos. On the one hand, how awesome that women of all ages can be sexy. And it's inspiring to see how gorgeously you can age if you live a healthy lifestyle. But some women happen to be genetically blessed with amazing bone structure and legs for days (for example).

These photos might be a bit intimidating -- here's the new beauty standard you have to meet well into middle age, when previous generations of women were allowed to ease comfortably into soft grandmaness.

On the other hand, I'd love to stop seeing "OMG, we can't believe we found a woman who is still sexy at 50!!" headlines and captions. Can we please stop acting like this is such a big surprise? My wish is that someday we'll just see photos of sexy 50-year-old women with no mention of their age at all. 

I think this world is big enough for both kinds of women, and everyone in between.

Do you wear SPF every day?

We've all heard you can only wear white after Memorial Day. You dare not wear a bikini without a certain kind of body. And if your underwear isn't a barely-there strip of fabric thought to prevent those unbecoming lines under dress pants, then you're wearing seriously unfashionable "granny panties."

You knew the first two were bunk, but the last one? Also a ridiculous MYTH!

Especially because we now have proof that "granny panties" -- you know the kind that actually feel comfortable to wear, like bikinis, boy shorts, and high-waist "Bridget Jones"-y briefs -- are much more in than thongs these days. Sales of thongs decreased 7 percent over the last year, while sales of fuller styles have grown a collective 17 percent, according to the research company NPD Group.

Even if you're not "hippy," this is fab news for all of us. Dalbesio explains that she hopes this trend toward styles previously dismissed as "granny panties" means the lingerie industry is starting to recognize that “there is not one ‘ideal body,’ but a plethora of them.” Right on!

Further, it seems like it means more of us are buying underwear that makes us feel comfortable and happy with how we feel and look, which I'm sure we can all agree is way sexier than any painful thong could ever be!

It's no secret that actress Demi Moore has been striving to look as young and gorgeous as her daughters -- particularly Rumer, 26, with whom she shared a "twinning" moment last week. But after attending the Seedling Launch party in Los Angeles this weekend, top plastic surgeon Tony Youn, M.D. says it's more than just good genes that gives Demi her youthful look. Youn says the 52-year-old star has undergone "extensive plastic surgery." 

The doctor, who has not treated Moore, explains the work he believes she may have had done:

I suspect that she has had injections of a filler like Sculptra into her cheeks, making them plumper. Her lips also appear quite enhanced, likely due to an injectable filler like Restylane. In addition, her forehead is quite smooth, which is likely due to injections of Botox.

Cosmetic Rejuvenation specialist Zara Harutyunyan, D.O.M., R.N., not only agrees with Youn but also suspects that Moore has had breast and mid-face augmentation and implants. We hate to say it, but they may be on to something based on that photo above.

While that sounds like A LOT of work, plastic surgery seems to be par for the course these days in Hollywood. And let's not forget, Demi spent seven years married to Ashton Kutcher, who is 15 years her junior! We can only imagine how that makes a mom of three feel!

Also, how gorgeous was Demi in St. Elmo's Fire and A Few Good Men? If surgery could keep you looking like that perennially, who wouldn't give it a go? Still, we hope she doesn't take it too far and become no longer recognizable as the woman we loved in Ghost.

Brace yourselves, folks. The world apparently has another new Human Barbie. Angelica Kenova is the latest doll-wannabe to step forward touting herself with the title. But the 26-year-old says her story is different from those who have claimed to bleed Barbie pink before her.

According to Kenova, her 32E bra size and 20-inch waist are all natural -- no plastic surgery here. Nope, her story is actually creepier in that she claims her Barbie doll looks are a direct result of "parental micromanaging."

According to Starcasm, Kenova says:

I should be independent, but my parents insist I still live with them. They don't want me to move into my own place and I am still dependent on them financially. It's always the mother's fault, isn't it?

For her part, Kenova doesn't seem the least bit concerned that her parents have kept her in a plastic bubble for the last 26 years, which is kind of the most alarming part of the story. A grown woman content with living on her parents' dime whose only pastime seems to be posting photos of herself on Instagram? That sounds more like E!'s Rich Kids of Beverly Hills than Barbie, who has had a number of careers, you know.

Iggy Azalea's seen her star rise to unbelievable heights recently, and now, she has even more to celebrate. The almost 25-year-old rapper is newly engaged to boyfriend and L.A. Lakers player Nick Young, who popped the question during his 30th birthday last night. The bling he bestowed upon Iggy is jaw-dropping, of course.

The diamond ring, which Nick designed with jeweler Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills, is reportedly 10.43 carats, consisting of an 8.15-carat fancy intense yellow diamond and a white diamond halo set into white gold.

Arasheben told PEOPLE:

Aww! And as if that wasn't sweet enough, the pro athlete seemed set on ensuring his love got a proposal to remember. Onlookers actually captured Nick on camera as he got down on one knee.
