I hate to admit it, but I've got a serious case of hair envy going on right now. Everywhere I turn, I see all these women with gorgeous, flowing long locks of hair, and I can't help but note how attractive and young they look. (And I want a piece of the prettiness too.) So that's why currently, I'm a phase of trying to grow my hair out. Every time I've gone in for a cut and color over the past year or so, my hair has always looked a bit too short when I leave the salon. The minute it gets above my shoulders -- it's like I age 10 years and put on a good 10 pounds. There, I said it. Having shorter hair makes me feel old and fat, and I'm sick and tired of feeling old and fat. And I'm sick to death of having "mom hair" too. (Aren't we supposed to feel good about ourselves after leaving the salon?)
