Nina Dobrev Looks Shockingly Good in a Little Black Dress: Here’s How She Does It

Post by Lindsay Mannering

nina dobrevBack from her perfectly styled and perfectly sunny girls' getaway in Miami with pal Julianne Hough, NinaDobrev looked tanned and refreshed at the Great Gatsby premiere in New York City. In a sexy black and gold Versace dress, metallic Rupert Sanderson heels, and a cylindrical Jimmy Choo clutch, Nina proved that with a little sparkle, the LBD is anything but boring.

Here's how she does it.

Sexy hair. Nina's long, effortless waves are easy to achieve. A few hot rollers or a large-barrelled curling iron and ba-bam! Hollywood glamour. Give roots a boost with a dry shampoo and finish with hairspray. The perfect piece of jewelry. Since Nina's LBD has a high neck, long earrings were the perfect choice. Huge, wide chandelier earrings are out, but long, elegant earrings that make a statement are in.  A great dress. The most important thing about Nina's dress, and anyone's dress, is that it fits like a glove. The high neck serves to elongate her torso, the shoulder cut-outs highlight her toned arms, and the gold embellishments add texture and style. The length is sexy without being obscene -- a win all around. Stylish yet functional bag. Nina's small, tube-like clutch is both modern and vintage at the same time. But the best part is, it looks just big enough to hold everything she needs without overpowering the outfit. Hot shoes. Nina's metallic heels are sexy and sophisticated. They're also timeless. These puppies won't go out of style, ever, so she's invested (or borrowed) wisely.

Nina makes it look easy, and it is. With a little thought, a little black dress can turn lots and lots of heads.

Do you like her look?

Khloe Kardashian Rumored to Have Had Face Implants but We’re Not Buying It

khloe kardashian

KhloeKardashian may have just lost her job on the X-Factor, but that's not why the 28-year-old reality star is coming under friendly-ish fire. A plastic surgeon who's never treated Khloe told Radar Online that it looks as though she's had fillers in the cheeks and face. Dr. Anthony Yeon observes that her visage hasn't gotten any slimmer since her weight loss, and asserts that it must be staying full thanks to plastic surgery.

He says:

Khloe looks great with a figure that rivals both her sisters, however when people lose weight their face actually become thinner. Khloe’s cheeks and lips actually look puffier than before. I suspect that she may have undergone injections of a filler like Juvederm, causing her face to appear puffy.

He goes on to say that injections or not, Khloe's looking great, and well, I couldn't agree more. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if Khloe had some injections here and there, but I don't think it's the reason her face is staying so beautifully plump. I think Khloe's always had a full face, and will no matter how thin she may get.

A full, round face is a blessing. It's youthful. It hides wrinkles. It looks dewy. Trust me, I'd give anything for a pleasingly tubby face. It's just skin and bone over here with some fine lines thrown in for good measure.

Khloe has said in the past that she's open to having some Botox, so maybe she just went for it. Then again, maybe not.

The world may never know.

Do you think Khloe had work done?

'Bachelorette' Emily Maynard Can Remove Stubborn Makeup With One Easy Beauty Trick

Post by Mary Fischer

Emily Maynard

Earlier today, I stumbled across a new post on former BacheloretteEmily Maynard's blog talking about what a pain in the rear end it is to try and remove waterproof eyelinerat the end of the day.

And my first reaction was to nod my head in agreement -- and then I read through the rest of her post to hear her tips for removing makeup to see if the tried and true method I've used for years happened to be mentioned.

Much to my amazement, it wasn't -- which blew me away because Em is obviously way better at makeup and beauty stuff than I ever have been or could ever hope to be. (Seriously. I need a lesson from her one of these days.)

I may not have too many beauty secrets to share, but getting rid of stubborn eye makeup is one area where I feel pretty knowledgeable.

Ready to hear my tip? (Hint -- it's not makeup remover.)

It's something pretty much every mom I know has stashed away in her bathroom somewhere -- Johnson's baby shampoo.

I'm telling you, as someone who has tried just about everything to successfully take off mascara, eye shadow, and heavy liner at the end of the day -- nothing beats the baby shampoo. Nothin'.

It was actually an eye doctor who tipped me off to this little trick. For a while, I would get styes in my eyes over and over again. He explained that bacteria gets stuck on your lashes and lids, and if you don't wash your eyes, it just sits there and never goes away. (Makes sense, right?)

Since the baby shampoo is tear-free, it doesn't sting at all, and it's gentle enough for the delicate skin around your eye area. And while I originally started using it to keep the styes away, I quickly realized just how effective it was as an eye makeup remover -- and now I never go anywhere without it. I even bought one of those little travel bottles to take with me when I'm out of town -- that's how much I rely on the stuff.

Try it, you guys. I promise you won't be disappointed. (You too, Emily. If you're reading this, of course.)

What do you use to remove eye makeup?

Mila Kunis Named 'Sexiest Woman' -- NOW Will She Play Ana in '50 Shades'?

Post by Lindsay Mannering

mila kunisIf I'm Mila Kunis right now, I'm pretty excited. The famous actress was just named the sexiest woman in the world by FHM and is the first American woman to be given the crown from this British publication. Noting her perfect teeth, self-deprecating sense of humor, and her natural beauty, Mila's more than worthy of the title, especially after her great year, career-wise. (Both Ted and Oz: Great and Powerful were big successes.)

Mila's probably getting used to being on top, seeing as she was named sexiest woman alive by Esquire just last year, so how's she going to top this?

By starring in the sexiest movie in the world, of course. The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is still looking for their Anastasia Steele ... wouldn't the world's sexiest woman be the perfect fit?

Unfortunately, Mila's not so keen on the idea. She told a British press outlet back in March:

Gosh, this Fifty Shades of Grey thing is just not gonna leave is it. No, you will not see me in Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm so sorry.

Whether she's telling the truth or just trying to throw us off her scent, I bet the Fifty Shades casting directors are doing back-flips trying to get the world's sexiest woman to consider playing the world's sexiest part.

But if they can't get Mila, maybe they should consider another gorgeous woman on FHM's list. Their top 10 includes Kate Upton, Rhianna, Kaley Cuoco, and Cheryl Cole.

Quick! Round them up and have a bottom-lip-biting competition, ASAP.

Do you think Mila should consider starring in Fifty Shades?

Star's Daughter Wears 'Peekaboo' Dress That Shows Some Serious Skin

Post by April Daniels Hussar

georgia may jaggerWow, look who's all grown up! Mick Jagger's daughter Georgia May Jagger attended a charity event wearing an ultra sexy and chic dress with lacy "thigh panels."

Wonder what her daddy would think of that dress?! If he were anything like my husband, he wouldn't have wanted Georgia May to leave the house ... but from a mommy POV, I think she looks gorgeous. And it doesn't really matter what any parents think, because at 21, Georgia is, after all, old enough to vote, drink, and pick her own clothes!

Also, she looks great in this dress: the high neck offsets the sexy bottom, and the hem -- even in the lacy panel part -- isn't really that high. Plus, sheer panels and "peekaboo" cut-outs are definitely a hot trend. Surely you recall the underwearless Gwyneth Paltrow in the Antonio Bernardi gown with sheer side panels that the "Most Beautiful Woman" wore to the Iron Man 3 premiere this week.

This is a great look for a brave woman on the red carpet, but it's also do-able for us regular mortals (with or without stripper butts)! There are a lot of sheer and "cut-out" options that would be perfect in a variety of situations (weekend brunch, work, a June wedding, whatever!), from this lace panel Mango T-shirt:

Mango tee sheer lace

($34.99 at Mango), to this sultry Topshop tank:

 Top Shop sheer tank

($56 at Nordstrom), to this splurgey Diane von Furstenberg lace dress with a semi-sheer yoke:

DVF dress lace

($355 at NeimanMarcus).

The key with this trend is to do as Georgia Jagger does: keep the sexiness to your top or bottom half, and keep the other half ladylike. Underwear, as always, is optional!

Would you dare to do this sheer, cut-out look?

Amanda Bynes' Plastic Surgery Confession Is a Desperate Cry for Help (PHOTOS)

Post by Mary Fischer

Amanda BynesWell, I guess we really shouldn't be all that surprised after hearing that Amanda Bynes has had work done -- you know, being that her behavior lately has been a little bit on the erratic side. (To say the least.)

I mean, if this were any other 27-year-old, it would be an absolute shock to hear that she'd gone under the knife (for something other than a boob job) at such a young age, but Amanda definitely seems to be in a world of her own these days.

And this isn't even speculation -- she's the one who admitted it.

She shared the news with her Twitter followers by saying, "The reason I've asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I don't look like that anymore. I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes. I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don't want old photos used anymore!"

Ugh. Is that one of the saddest things you've ever heard or what? It's so disheartening to hear any young girl talk so negatively about her appearance. And the worst part is that Amanda was really cute and didn't need to go to such great lengths to change -- plus she looked a whole lot better before she got the plastic surgery.

Here's a recent pic that she posted to Twitter.

Amanda Bynes

Now compare it to the one at the top of this post from a few years ago. See what I mean? OMG! She was so adorable. And fresh-faced. And innocent looking. And pretty too -- so what made her feel like she needed to change?

Duh. Obviously she fell victim to the pressure to look perfect in Hollywood, which is just plain sad. And now she doesn't look anything like herself anymore, which probably helped contribute to the issues she's been having lately.

And you know what's even worse? This is how she captioned the Twitter photo:

"About to put on makeup! I weigh 135, I've gained weight! I need to be 100 lbs!"

Doesn't that make you want to cry a little? All plastic surgery aside -- Amanda looks great, and she certainly doesn't need to lose a single pound. This poor girl doesn't have an ounce of self-esteem left, and it's just so unfortunate. (Seriously, she needs help, people.)

If there's any good that can come out of what's happening to her, maybe we can use her story as a reminder to ourselves and to the other women in our lives that plastic surgery doesn't solve anything in the long run. In fact, sometimes it can change you to the point where you don't even recognize yourself in the mirror -- which is never a good thing.

Do you think Amanda looks better now or a few years ago?

Sarah Palin's New Hairstyle Looks Strangely Familiar -- Who Do You Think She Copied? (PHOTO)

sarah palin
Looks like somebody got a new 'do just in time for spring. Sarah Palin, former Governor of Alaska, former Vice Presidential nominee, and current freedom crusader, was in Houston over the weekend to speak at an NRA convention and debuted not only a shirt that read "women hunt" in pink writing, but a new hairdo, as well.

Palin's sense of style has been a part of her political persona, rightfully or not, since she stepped on the national stage in 2008, and now, five years later, haircut still equals news.

Sarah seems to have cut her bangs, taken a few inches off the bottom, gotten layers, amped up the volume, and dyed a small section blonde.

Sarah's always had enviable hair -- so lush and shiny, dontcha know -- but this latest cut isn't her best. It's just a little helmet-y and, in fact, looks oddly familiar.sarah palin
The length and the bangs are reminiscent of Michelle Obama's haircut, right?

FLOTUS's new 'do was the bang heard 'round the world back in January and was so notable, it was a punchline at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Barack looked pretty good with Michelle's hairstyle, if you ask me.

Maybe Sarah Palin didn't want to be left out of the fun and decided it was only appropriate to exercise her freedom to copy Mrs. Obama's hairstyle before speaking at the NRA convention.

Or maybe she was encouraged by how nice Michelle Duggar's bangs turned out?

Regardless of inspiration, Palin's bangs made a big noise at the gun conference. Chh chh, boom.

Do you like Palin's new style?

Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June Was the Best-Looking Bride on Reality TV – See for Yourself! (PHOTOS)

Post by Ericka Sóuter

mama june and sugar bearWhen we first got word that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo stars Mama June Shannon and Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson were tying the knot, we figured it would more resemble something out of Guns & Ammo than Modern Bride. We were right. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. The couple didn't betray their redneck roots when it came to their big day on May 5 -- and they looked fantastic.

Forget glittering swarovski crystals and chic white silk. The style theme for these nuptials was more along the lines of "smexy" combat cool. Mama wore a camouflage and orange gown with a veil; Sugar Bear sported camo pants, an orange vest, black shirt and tie; and their daughter-turned-flower girl Honey Boo Boo was decked out in a frilly, hot pink pageant gown.

honey boo boo

Guests kept with the down-home dress code wearing fatigues and bright colors. As wacky as it sounds, it was actually a very stylish affair. After they exchanged vows, they couple changed into matching casual duds -- camouflage tees and cropped khaki pants -- before hopping aboard an ATV with a "Just Married" sign and paint cans attached to the back.

I know some may turn their nose up at the details, but it really was a marvelous event. I especially loved the fact that it was so, well, so ...them. That is what makes this so much cooler than a Kardashian wedding or any other on reality TV. This moment was all about the couple, not the cameras. Clearly Mama could care less what the fashion police think. And the shape of the dress actually complemented her figure quite well. She looked every bit the glowing bride or as she would say, "beautimous."

Held at their McIntyre, Georgia home, friends and family noshed on barbecue and sipped cocktails out of mason jars. It looked as though everyone was having a blast, especially the bride and groom. And isn't that what a wedding is all about -- celebrating each other and having fun?

What do you think of their wedding attire?

Woman’s ‘Mommy Makeover’ Plastic Surgery for Mother’s Day Goes Horribly Wrong (VIDEO)

Post by Kiri Blakeley

We hear so much about celebrities willy-nilly going and getting plastic surgery without so much as a hard 10-second thought about it that I think we forget that surgery is always serious and always carries some risk. No doubt surgery is worlds away from the medieval days when it was painful and extremely dangerous, with people routinely dying on the table. But it's still surgery. It shouldn't ever be undertaken lightly. And plastic surgery often isn't medically necessary -- lots of times it's not even cosmetically necessary. Let's face it, nobody NEEDS bigger boobs or a thinner nose. Still, surgery is generally so safe today that people are shocked when something goes wrong. The family of a mother of two is considering suing the woman's plastic surgeon after her "mommy makeover" went horribly wrong.

The 39-year-old woman, Adriana de Silva, who is the mother to a 14-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son, flew to Florida from New York in order to have a "mommy makeover" -- a tummy tuck, liposuction, and breast implants. Her 14-year-old daughter said the surgeries were a gift to herself for her birthday and Mother's Day.

Surgery as a gift? Shudder. But two days after her surgery, de Silva had a stroke. She then slipped into a coma. And then she died.

Two children without a mother. For cosmetic surgery. Is it worth the risk? Let's face it, we all have physical things about ourselves that we don't like. I'm not going to mention mine. I don't like them, so why would I draw attention to them? But there is one particular surgery I've thought about getting for ages. In fact, when I once casually mentioned it to a doctor, he began going on and on about how I would look GREAT with that surgery! By the time I left his office, what had been a fleeting thought in my mind almost became a certainty. I began looking up the procedure online. Comparing costs. Imagining how FABULOUS I would look with that surgery.

And then I came to my senses. Did I really want my insides split open and tools shoved into my body while I was under anesthesia to cause a cosmetic change that probably no one but me would notice anyway? Better to get to like myself. Anyway, the older I get, the more I like my flaws!

That said, I'm not ruling out surgery forever. If it gets to the point that they can do face lifts or breast implants without putting you under, then sign me up. I ain't gonna lie. But until that day, I'll stick with what I have.

I'm not blaming de Silva for her choice. She obviously thought the surgeries would be safe. But I wonder why the doctor chose to do three major surgeries at once? I think people think you go into an office and boom! come out looking fab. But there's a whole lotta pain and healing between surgery and fab.

There is nothing sadder than dying for a surgery that you didn't need to have. My heart goes out to this family.

Would you ever have plastic surgery? Have you?

The 2013 Met Gala was held in New York City Monday night, and let me tell you: Some of the fashuns were cah-razy. We had Anne Hathaway in a wardrobe-malfunction-ready dress (and platinum hair), Sarah Jessica Parker in a mohawk-esque hat. Insanity. You've gotta check them out for yourself. 'Bachelorette' Emily Maynard's Legs Have the One Quality That Makes Short-Shorts Possible

Post by Mary Fischer

Emily MaynardSigh. Just when we thought she couldn't possibly get any more attractive, BacheloretteEmily Maynard posed in short-shorts for a picture she posted to Instagram -- and now there's no denying that she has one seriously amazing figure going on.

She wore the floral-patterned attire for the A Better World Charlotte golf tournament, and combined with a light pink sweater, this is one look we'd all love to copy for sure.

There's only one problem.

Most of us aren't blessed with a body like Emily's -- which is why even considering throwing on a pair of short-shorts is totally out of the question.

And if you're anything like me, that's the main reason you avoid shorts at all costs and stick to dresses whenever possible.

But there are some occasions when shorts are really the only appropriate attire (like heading to an amusement park) -- which is why I broke down and went shopping for a few pairs last weekend.

And while the experience wasn't nearly as excruciating as I anticipated -- it still wasn't pretty when I attempted to try on any pair that crept up above my mid-thigh region.

My legs are far from horrible, but they certainly ain't what they were 10 years ago. Translation -- pregnancy, age, and oh yeah, AGE have unfortunately been accompanied by cellulite, and cellulite is horrific, and so I try to cover up as much of it as I possibly can for the sake of the eyes of the general population. (You're welcome.)

Mid-thigh-length shorts don't cover it completely, but they come close -- and Bermuda shorts are even better. And that's why I passed up the short-shorts racks entirely and stocked up on a few pairs of Bermudas and mid-thighs instead, and I'm cool with it.

But I won't lie. If I had legs that were slender, toned, and cellulite-free like Emily's? I'd live in a pair of short-shorts the entire summer -- proudly. Oh, who are we kidding, I'd flaunt those babies left and right whenever I got the chance, even if the temperatures were a little bit chilly.

Do you still wear short-shorts?

Flight Attendants Banned From Wearing Red Lipstick and Nails -- Which Will Obviously Mean Fewer Crashes

Post by Kiri Blakeley

A Turkish airline has decided to embrace more Islamic values by clamping down on the slutty overly made-up looks of its airline attendants. The airline has banned the use of red or dark pink lipstick or nail polish on its stewardesses. And thank Allah, because those attendants' lipstick colors were really a danger to the country's morality! Seriously, a good family man might see that and go crazy -- immediately cheat on his wife and rob a bank! Says the airline:

As a consequence of our current cabin uniforms not including red, dark pink, etc., the use of lipstick and nail polish in these colours by our cabin crew impairs visual integrity.

"Visual integrity" being another way of saying, "Red lipstick will send us all straight to hell!!!"

So what can the stewardesses wear? The airline wants them to be "artless and well-groomed, with makeup in pastel tones." Because nothing says "airline safety" like "pastel tones," amiright? Said one passenger:

I've never heard of a plane crashing because of women's lipstick.

You haven't?! Silly man. You need to get out more often. Well, I'm glad Turkish Airlines is concentrating on what's important. Hmm. I wonder what else the airline should ban. I'm thinking:

Tampons. We know what those evil sticks are all about!

Neck pillows. What do you need your neck comfortable for? So you can LIE DOWN? Dog!

Guns. Err. Hopefully?? Is this all about makeup?

Those little bottles of booze. We know that could lead to an all-out orgy!

Bruce Willis movies. No one wants to see those. Seriously.

Mascara. Do not flutter those fake eyelashes at me, harlot!

Orange lipstick. Because that's just ugly. Talkin' to you, J. Lo.

What else should we ban on airlines?

Keira Knightley's Short Wedding Dress and Low-Key Bridal Style Showed How Cool It Is to Go Casual on Your Big Day

Post by April Daniels Hussar

Keira KnightleyKeira Knightley was an absolutely adorable bride when she and James Righton tied the knot this weekend. Knightley wore flats, a classic Chanel jacket, and a short, tulle Chanel wedding dress that looks exactly like a Rodarte gown Knightley was photographed in a few years back. How's that for a low-maintenance bride?!

Only a handful of guests attended the ceremony in a small French village, but more were rumored to be at the reception that night. Judging by the photos of Knightley and her groom, I bet it was a fun party! Why?

No bridezillas! I just love that Knightley looked totally herself for her wedding: her hair was down, she had her sunglasses on, and she appeared happy and relaxed (though an onlooker did tell US Weekly that Knightley cried during the ceremony. Aww!). I bet the focus of the entire day was way more about the beauty, meaning, and FUN of the occasion, rather than on whether the napkins matched the garter belts and how the bride's airbrushed foundation and spray tan were holding up.

No crazy prom hair, no hovering makeup artists -- just two people in love, wearing clothes they felt comfortable (and looked great) in, celebrating the beginning of the rest of their lives together.

What do you think of Keira's laid-back wedding style?

Vanessa Hudgens' Pants Mishap Is a Whole New Kind of Wardrobe Malfunction (PHOTOS)

vanessa hudgensZac Efron's former flame, Vanessa Hudgens, is no stranger to wardrobe malfunctions. A few weeks ago, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, the starlet set tongues wagging in a super low-cut orange jumpsuit that she was thisclose to spilling out of. And now she's at it again. Only this time the low-cutness of it all is at the front of her pants.

Kids these days. Who knew there was such a thing as crotch cleavage?

Check out Vanessa's crazy wardrobe malfunction:

vanessa hudgens

VHudg was attending a Rolling Stones concert in a short bandeau-type top and wide-leg, Hermes-esque trousers when her boyfriend, some dude named Austin Butler, accidentally (or was it "accidentally"?) stepped on the back of her pants, causing them to pull down. The result? A free peep show of Hudgens' incredibly toned tummy and turquoise underwear.

Now, I get it. Vanessa is young and lovely and has nary an ounce of flab on her body -- she should show it off -- but underwear cleavage? Come on. And this is a girl who's already had not only her share of wardrobe malfunctions, but who was at the center of a nude photo scandal a few years back. I wonder what her parents think. Hudg seems like a nice girl and thankfully doesn't have any run-ins with the law under her belt, but not gonna lie: I wouldn't be a fan of my daughter being caught with her boobs and underwear hanging out. How many wardrobe malfunctions can one gal have?!

I guess the silver lining of it all is the fact that Vanessa had the sense to throw on a pair of undies. That's more than we can say for a lot of celebs, so Mom and Dad must have done something right. Underwear, kids: It's your friend.

What do you think of Vanessa's wardrobe malfunction?

'Bachelor' Sean Lowe's Man Jewelry Really Isn't Doing Him Any Favors

Sean Lowe Peta MurgatroydNow that his journey on Dancing With the Stars has officially come to an end, BachelorSean Lowe is going to have quite a bit of time on his hands to relax, unwind -- and hopefully rethink his accessory choices before heading out in public.

Um, have you seen this photo taken at the airport where Sean is wearing a weird necklace while waiting at baggage claim with Peta Murgatroyd?

Seriously, what is that thing?

Ok, so I know it's not a sleazy gold chain or anything like that, but you gotta admit, this particular piece of jewelry is a little, well -- bizarre.

Upon first glance, it looks like it could possibly be some sort of whistle, which could mean one of two things: a) He likes to keep tabs on Peta when they travel together, or b) Catherine Giudici (or Peta) digs the whole Captain Von Trapp vibe (who doesn't?), which is what he was aiming to capture.

But let's assume for a second that this is nothing more than a regular old piece of man bling (even though it's not shiny or sparkly). I don't know what it is about men and jewelry, but the combination really freaks me out for some reason. Other than a simple wedding band, I just can't get into dudes accessorizing, especially with bracelets and/or necklaces. (Although dog tags are pretty hot.)

I guess I just associate jewelry with being a girl thing, though I'm not really sure why. Maybe it's because my high school was overloaded with guys wearing peace signs and hemp leaves around their necks. Or maybe watching too many episodes of Jersey Shore turned me off to man jewelry for good. Whatever the case -- I'm just not into it.

And with any luck, Sean has lost this necklace and won't consider wearing it again at any point in the near future.

Do you think jewelry is sexy on men?

Demi Lovato Goes Blonde at Just the Right Time (PHOTO)

Post by Emily Abbate

It's no strange venture for a celeb to do something crazy to mix up their look. Whether it's totally swapping out your closet a la Kim Kardashian or cutting off your tresses like Anne Hathaway, I'll be the first to say that I appreciate a drastic style change. The latest lady to go big or go home? Hello Demi Lovato. The singer whose new self-titled album drops next week has officially gone back to blonde. The X Factor judge debuted her look at an event yesterday in Washington, D.C.

I don't know about y'all, but I love it. I think it's a sweet change from those dark brown locks. Plus, the look is totally perfect for the summer season. It's light, it's fun, and for the record -- it's not something that personally I could EVER do.

As a natural brunette my entire life, I've never had the guts to go 100 percent in the other direction and attempt being a blonde. Sure I've tried highlights and whatnot, but for me, I just don't think that 100 percent light strands would work with my coloring.

But I admire the people (like Demi) who can. If there's ever a great time to mix things up, it's when the seasons change. This is the time when the colors in your wardrobe change, the kinds of makeup you're wearing change, and hello -- the perfect opportunity for the strands framing your face to change, too.

So kudos to Demi for being bold and having fun with her new look. Considering she's quite the chameleon, I'm not sure how long she'll be a blonde -- but for now, I think it's just perfect.

Do you change your hair color with the seasons? Have you ever made a drastic change and regretted it?

Amanda Bynes Now Says She's Doing a Clothing Line and We're Legitimately Frightened

Amanda BynesChalk this up to the last thing you expected to hear today:Amanda Bynes is making her own clothing line. If you could see the look on my face right now, it's a cross between a dead stare and confusion as to who would ACTUALLY sign off on this. This is the same Amanda Bynes that's off her rocker, right? The same one who wants to lose 30 pounds, was spotted going bat shit crazy in a gym, and is spiraling out of control faster than Justin Bieber did about a month ago?

Ah HAH -- speaking of that Bieber character, he's her inspiration. As in, she told InTouch that she loves the way that Bieber dresses and he's totally her style muse, along with the fashion lines from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

I'm sorry. I can't. I CAN NOT. I mean, did you SEE what she was wearing in Times Square last week?

For a moment, let's just rewind to 2007 when Amanda Bynes was fully functional and had a clothing line at Steve & Barry's. Remember Steve & Barry's? How CHEAP all of that stuff was? I miss being able to buy a tank top from her "Dear" line for $4.99. Oh, the good ol' days.

Today I don't foresee "cute" things in her line. If she's pulling inspiration from Bieber, I see dropped crotch pants and awkwardly fitting tank tops with gas masks as accents. While pulling inspiration from Mary-Kate and Ashley is a MUCH better look, I could see her aiming to replicate one of the white tunics from their spring line and then ruining it with enough zippers and studs to make you nauseated.

Oh Bynes. Who knows, maybe this fashion thing will give her a sense of purpose again. I'd be willing to pay to see this blondie behind a sewing machine, not like she would actually be making this stuff.

What do you think of Amanda Bynes' fashion dreams?

Robin Williams and 4 Other Celebs in Floral Like Kim Kardashian: Who Wore It Best? (PHOTOS)

Kim Kardashian Robin WilliamsWell, it's Hump Day, so there's no better time than right about now to discuss Kim Kardashian's monstrosity of a floral carpet dress -- with matching(!) gloves and shoes, high slit, and baby bump -- she wore to the Met Gala in NYC. There has since been an inundation of reports about what an amazing fail in fashion this dress was (be sure to check out ours!). And the backlash continues to bring all of us closer together ... come on, it's just not a good look.

But no one had a greater response to this dress disaster than comedian and actor Robin Williams. As you can see from his hilarious tweet above, Williams pulled off the exact same look in 1993's Mrs. Doubtfire -- and needless to say, he definitely did it better! How amazing is that. It's practically the same exact oufit, and that's just scary.

Because of responses like this one to Kim K.'s dress don't, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, the crazy person man responsible for creating this thing that has been forever seared into my memory, has come out and actually defended the gown. (Am I allowed to call it that? Is that an insult to all the other gowns?)

I wanted to have a Kim Kardashian moment, because Kim always supports me. She is the future wife of a really good friend of mine. I wanted to have a moment of family ... Kim, Kanye, and the baby ... I said, we should give her our punk moment with a romantic beautiful flower-printed dress. I have dressed many pregnant women in the past. People can say what they want. To me, pregnancy is the most beautiful thing in the world, and when you celebrate something, you give people flowers. I think she looked amazing. She was the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career.

It's just a shame he dressed up a beautiful pregnant woman in that. Never heard of a time when "punk" translated to "romantic beautiful flower-printed dress," have you? I'm so confused. I can't believe the people involved looked at that gown and thought, Hey, this is going to be a good idea.

So, anyway, just for the hell of it, here are four more celebrities dressed up in florals. I still think Robin Williams's look is best though, don't you?

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Makeup-Free and Wet Hair Look Is Unfairly Flawless

gwyneth paltrowWhat happens when the most beautiful woman in the world steps out of her apartment with wet hair and no makeup? She makes us all cringe with jealousy and curse our lack of will power. Gwyneth Paltrow was photographed Wednesday morning leaving her Tribeca apartment looking decidedly dressed down, but still impeccably gorgeous.

Guess those green juices really do make you look beautiful from the inside out, because Gwen, 40, looks perfect without any hair or makeup tricks.

On Monday, Ms. Paltrow attended the Met Gala in a gorgeous pink Valentino gown with plenty of eye-shadow and a lovely ponytail. Now, two days later, she's washed off the glitz and glamour and wore jeans, booties, and an '80s rocker leather jacket to run some errands.

If you ask me, she probably should've worn this outfit to the Met ball, seeing as it was a punk theme, and seeing as how Gwyneth showing up without makeup in jeans and a jacket would've been the punkiest thing ever, but she instead opted to play it safe (and off-theme) in a pretty pink dress.

On Tuesday, Gwen looked casual and chic in white pants and a black top while promoting the GOOP app at SoHo's Apple store, and after two events back to back, I'm sure she was happy to have some down time that required little to no fussing.

She's described herself in the past as a laid-back, jeans and t-shirt type girl, so this low-fi look is certainly one in which she's most comfortable.

What do you think of Gwen's makeup-free look?

7 Bra Mistakes You're Probably Making and Tips on How to Fix Them

Post by Mary Fischer

braUgh. Bras. We can't live without 'em, but to say finding one that fits well, lifts and separates the way it's supposed to, and makes us look amazing in our clothes seems like an impossible feat, to say the least.

But as it turns out, a lot of us are making bra shopping way more difficult than it has to be. (Everything is our fault. Face it.)

Last week, I had the pleasure of chatting with Jené Luciani, style expert and author of The Bra Book-- and she gave me some easy tips for how to find the perfect bras -- and how to care for them properly so we remain happy with them.

OMG, you guys -- so many of us are making major bra mistakes. (I definitely am.)

Look in the mirror -- If your bra is not laying straight across your back, if your boobs are spilling out of the top, or if the straps are cutting into you and the band is giving you bra-line-bulge -- you're wearing the wrong size bra. (Guilty as charged.)Get professionally fitted -- This means going to a specialty or department store that has certified bra fitters, not your local lingerie joint where some 18-year-old lets you into the dressing room and tries to sell you her most expensive bra. And it's important that whoever measures you actually busts out the measuring tape instead of trying to guess your size by looking at you.Be open minded -- What you think your bra size is and what your bra size actually is are probably two different things. And don't be surprised if your band size is smaller than you think and your cup size is larger. Don't laugh or cringe when you find out your real size after being professionally measured. Just go with it.Stick to your band size -- Alright, confession time. I measure at a 34, but always buy a 36 because the 34 feels so tight. But bras are supposed to feel snug at first. They'll stretch out after an hour or so, at which point they'll fit correctly. If you buy a size up, when it stretches out, it winds up being too big. (No wonder I'm always tugging on mine.)Stock up -- Jené recommends that every woman have the following in her lingerie drawer: 2 nude bras; 2 black bras; one strapless or convertible style; and 1 seamless, wireless bra for comfort. (Yes, you need more than one or two, ladies.) FYI, The Genie Bra is a great option as far as seamless bras go. It looks flawless under your clothes, and it's so comfortable, you might not even realize you have it on!Re-measure and Replace -- Jené also says it's a good rule of thumb to get measured and replace your bras about once a year. And if you experience pregnancy, weight loss or gain, or another life change, it's probably a good idea to get measured again. Wash often -- Ok, so I really suck at this one. Did you know you're supposed to wash your bras in between every single use? I didn't. I wear those babies over and over again. (Gross?) The oil from our skin breaks down the elasticity of the fabric if we don't wash them every time, which means they won't last as long, which means we have to go out and spend more money on new ones a lot sooner. (Fail.)

Are you making any of these bra mistakes?
