Sharon Stone Makes Us All Want to Grow Old Just Like Her (VIDEO)

Post by Julie Ryan Evans

Sharon StoneSharon Stone is f*cking hot. I'm sorry, but when you're 55 and look like she does, it deserves an eff bomb for emphasis. She's recently been making the rounds promoting her upcoming film Lovelace, and she's never looked better. Of course, she's never looked worse either.

We're used to seeing celebrities who don't seem to age, but Stone is unique in that she has maintained her flawless face and figure without the help of a surgeon's scalpel. No, really. She says while doctors have tried to talk her into plastic surgery in the past, she just hasn't been willing to go there.

In an interview with New You magazine, she revealed her refreshing views on plastic surgery and aging in general.

I have come close – but, frankly, I think that in the art of aging well there’s this sexuality to having those imperfections. It’s sensual.

Easy for her to say when she has none, but point taken. She went on to say that she doesn't think there's anything wrong with cosmetic procedures, but she doesn't think people should distort themselves. She also believes there should be an FDA requirement that people have to meet with a therapist before getting plastic surgery. Given some of the crazy, overzealous cases we've seen in recent years, that's actually not a bad idea.

As for her age-defying body, she says she comes by that naturally too. She told People that in addition to Pilates and lifting weights, she has another exercise secret:

I put on dance mixes and I really dance my brains out at home because I enjoy that. That saying – 'Dance like nobody is watching' – I do that. I dance like nobody's watching and I dance hard until I sweat and I think that that’s very good. It’s good for the mind and the body.

Clearly, it's working. I so want to be her when I grow up.

lauren conradThere's a reason you often look at celebrities and think, "Damn. She's got nice hair." Because it's fake. Most celebrities, whether they've already got naturally nice locks or have fine, stringy hair like some of us (hi), have a little help when it comes to their tresses.

Stars may all be born a little more beautiful (on the outside) than the rest of the population, but doggone it, they've got some incredible "enhancements". Here are 6 surprising celebrities with hair extensions.

Are You Wearing the Wrong Color for Your Skin Tone? Here's How to Find Out

Post by Michele Zipp

closetOnce I was speaking with a friend about what colors look best on us and she just blurted out: "Burgundy looks horrible on you." Sure it was after a glass of wine and we were being brutally honest (I did agree that green wasn't her color). But hearing the words "horrible on you" kind of stung especially since I own quite a few burgundy colored clothes. Now if she said yellow or pink, I would have most definitely agreed. But burgundy?

There is such a thing as a wearing the wrong color. I know this every time I accidentally buy a lipstick with too much red and not enough berry. It's the same kind of feeling I get when I put on something a little too complicated or sporty -- I'm more of a bohemian style kind of girl. In order to avoid wearing a color that doesn't work for you, you can take a quiz.

Generally warm skin tones tend to look good in peach, gold, peachy pinks, orange, corals, or reds with orange tones. Warm skin tends to tan easily.

Cool skin tones burn more easily. Those with cool skin look best in blue, blue greens, purples, and blueish reds.

Confused? Take this skin tone quiz to see which skin tone you have and some color ideas.

I think a lot depends on your personal style as well. I know some women who would wear a floral dress and others who would never have one in their closet. As with anything, if you wear it with confidence, you will wear it well. Now about that burgundy on me ... my confidence was kind of killed once "horrible" was muttered. Oh well, there's always black.

Do you have colors that you would never wear?

Times sure have changed since my mom used to drag me in to the hippie-dippie health food store, where, much to my dismay, we'd buy Tom's of Maine toothpaste and weird "natural" shampoo that no one else I knew used. Now, every Whole Foods has a giant department devoted to natural and organic skin and body care, and you can buy tons of organic and natural beauty products online ... and I love it! (My mom was a trend-setter -- who knew?!) From organic firming body lotions to luxurious organic bubble baths, there are so many heavenly, organic products to treat your body beautifully. Here are 10 of the best!

Sure, plenty of celebs suffer unfortunate wardrobe malfunctions, but some of them are much more humiliating and harder to live down than others. (To say the least.)

Farrah Abraham Wears a Face Full o' Makeup ... to the Pool

Post by Nicole Fabian-Weber

farrah abrahamPorn and Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham was recently seen hanging out at the pool with her daughter Sophia. And while the blogosphere has been blowing up with talk of how incredibly skinny Farrah looks, the thing that caught my eye is the fact that she's wearing a face full of makeup. To the pool. Like, the place where most people go to sweat and swim.

I feel like the two places makeup just doesn't belong are the gym and the pool/beach. I totally understand wearing a little mascara or lip gloss, or maybe even some tinted moisturizer, to either place to feel pretty. But if you plan on actually exercising (IE sweating up a storm) or diving into the pool (or sweating while you lay by the pool), what's the point of putting on foundation, false lashes, blush, gloss, etc.? It's all just going to come off. And if you're not at either place to sweat or swim, well, why are you there?

I think it's fairly obvious that the real reason Farrah is sitting poolside with her kid is for a photo op. There's no way she has any intention of spontaneously doing a cannon ball into the water. So her makeup and hair, I guess, make sense. But people do actually do this in real life. I've seen with my own two eyeliner-less eyes. And while they look very lovely and make me feel like a hot mess, their fun seems to be kind of hindered by their makeup. And what's more chic than having fun?

Do you wear makeup to the gym or beach?

10 Ways to Look Cool When It's Hot Outside

Post by Lindsay Ferrier

FlickrIt's August, the hottest, sweatiest month of the year.

At some point every August, I generally abandon all attempts at looking fashionable, because what's the point? Everything I wear gets pit stains. My hair goes limp in the humidity, no matter what I do to it. And I sweat my makeup off five minutes after I apply it.

Gross.

That said, I have adapted a few techniques to fight back against the heat and stay stylish in the summertime. And today, I'm going to share them with you.

LOFT

1. Invest in inexpensive sleeveless cotton dresses. The only good news about August (besides the fact that school starts -- YAY) is that it's a GREAT time to invest in a summer wardrobe for this season and next. Every store is offering deep discounts right now on its summer stuff, and that's why I generally hit up LOFT each August for a bunch of cotton dresses for the days when I'm running around with the kids. This Twist Bodice Sleeveless Dress (LOFT, $27.92) is one I just picked up on deep discount -- it was originally $50.

Piperlime

2. Splurge on a pair of cute and super-comfortable sandals. Each summer, I've learned to spend up if I have to in order to find sandals that are both pretty AND very, very comfortable. This year, I chose these Born Venetia Sandals (Piperlime, $59.99), and you're lucky they're on sale. I paid $115 for mine at the beginning of the season. Honestly, the price was worth it to me. They feel like I'm walking on air.

Shopbop

3. Beat the heat in a stylish maxi dress. I love maxi dresses when it's hot outside. They work during the day and at night. Unless you're a rail, choose styles that give your waist definition just below the bust, like this Townsen Maxi Dress (Shopbop, $123.20). I chose this particular dress for the post because it would be flattering on lots of figures, but you can find similar maxi dresses that are much less expensive right now at all the department stores.

Bloomingdales

4. Embrace your messy summer hair with Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray (Sephora, $25). This spray had been recommended to me for ages, and now I know why. It has become a summer staple! Put a little Surf Spray in your hair and scrunch it for messy, beachy waves that'll make it look like you just came in from an afternoon by the ocean. Surf Spray helps me embrace the horrible humidity. Love it.

Bloomingdales

5. Buy a Miraclesuit on discount now and look 10 pounds thinner at the pool. I'm on high alert for this Sonatina Miraclesuit (Bloomingdale's, $142) to go on sale somewhere this summer. I saw a woman in it recently at a waterpark and she looked HOT. Miraclesuits really do make you look great -- I like picking them up a the end of the season, when you can find them for up to 50% off their regular price.

Sally Hansen

6. Play up your legs with Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. This leg makeup is around $8 at your local drugstore and it's worth every penny. Spray some on and your legs will look absolutely flawless. This is another summer staple for me. I'm a total klutz and my legs always have nicks and bruises. This spray covers them all right up!

Shopbop

7. Seek out pretty barrettes to keep your hair off your face and neck. No, I can't afford this Pluie Starfish Barrette (Shopbop, $125) either, but it's really gorgeous, isn't it? It inspires me to look for less expensive barrettes that are equally beautiful. I can totally NOT wear my hair down right now because ... gross.

Shopbop

8. Try out the summer trends with a pair of shorts. Floral's hot this season. Why not rock the look in a cute pair of floral shorts like these Alice +Olivia Shorts (Shopbop, $73.20)? They're much cooler than a dress or skirt.

Neiman Marcus

9. Invest in a pair of designer sunglasses to up your hot weather style ante. I'm lusting after these Prada Cat-Eye Sunglasses (Neiman Marcus, $245). If you've got a little extra cash on hand, I highly recommend a pair of designer sunglasses that suit your budget. Whether you spend $50 or $250, you'll feel a little more put together every time you wear them.

Ralph Lauren

10. Are you a working mom? Look for sleeveless, machine washable dresses like this Drape Front Matte Jersey Dress (Ralph Lauren, $134). I LIVED in dresses like this one when I was covering the presidential election last summer. They travel well, too, and when the weather gets cooler, you can simply throw a jacket or cardigan on top.

Any tips you'd like to add? Share them in the comments!

The All-White Manicure Is White Hot (And Easy to Do Yourself!)

Post by April Daniels Hussar

all white manicureThe all-white manicure is one of those fresh and sexy trends that's totally DIY-able. A ton of the spring/summer runways featured models sporting all-white, and even Kim Kardashian showed off her short white mani a while ago, so this week I figured what the heck?! I tried it myself, and I'm quite happy with the results! I did find it a little trickier to work with than colored polish, but overall, it's really just two coats, a top coat, and voila!

Here's the shot Kim K Instagrammed:

Kim Kardashian

(Side note: Oh how I want her Cartier Love bracelet!!!)

Kim captioned this "Short nails are everything" -- and I do think they look great like this. I left mine a little longer, mostly because I'm lazy and didn't feel like trimming and filing them! But I like my results too!

all-white manicure

For my at-home mani, I used Dolce & Gabbana Intense Nail Lacquer in "true white" ... which is actually SLIGHTLY off-white. It's like almost a creamy white, but not quite. ($25 at SaksFifthAvenue.com) I just happened to have this laying around, but some other great options would be Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in "White On" for a real bright, quick-drying white ($2.49 at Target) or OPI "Cream of Capri" for a similar look to mine. ($6.99 at BeautyEncounter.com)

I also used Essie "No Chips Ahead" top coat, which really helped smooth out the whole look (and of course it makes the mani last longer). ($7.79 at Target)

Now, I must say that I found the white polish a little more challenging than usual, and I've read this same thing from other beauty bloggers. I think it's because it has to be pretty thick for the white to be opaque, and because it's so white, mistakes show up easily. My first coat looked pretty bad, but once I realllllly carefully went over it with a second coat, it looked a million times better. So my advice is -- don't panic if your first pass looks like crap! Have some nail polish remover and a Q-tip handy and it will be fine.

I do think this manicure would also look great with a little bling, like a sparkly top coat on just the ring finger nails (or all of them), but for now, I'm kind of loving the fresh whiteness of it.

What do you think?

Does Fancy Caviar Face Cream REALLY Make You Look Younger?

Post by The Stir Bloggers

caviarWhen a small bottle about the height of key with a diameter of a penny shows up on your desk promising to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in four weeks time, using caviar extract, no less, you pay attention. Do good things really come in small packages? I was about to find out.

RG-Cell's Concentrated Restorative Skin serum retails for $99.99 and talks a big game. The packaging, which is very science-y and therefore encouraging, told me I'd experience the "stem cell miracle." The tiny paper insert informed me it's the "latest, breakthrough, anti-aging, skin care cosmaceutical to hit the market" and listed fancy ingredients like algae, caviar, and soy.

The vegan fish market-sounding recipe was going to repair my DNA, it said, rejuvenate my skin cells, boost my collagen production, and repair skin damage. For a month, I dabbed half a pea's size amount on my crow's feet every morning and night.

And? you're probably asking?

Well, I didn't notice any improvement whatsoever. None. Nothing seemed to change. My wrinkles are still here, my fine lines are still here, my collagen seems to have stayed the same, and my freckles, a.k.a. my skin damage, are still as noticeable as raisins in a pile of grapes.

There was, however, a wonderful side effect. No, I didn't get younger and more beautiful, but I'll be damned if I didn't feel super fancy putting this stuff on. I felt like I was treating myself each time I dotted the mysterious concoction onto my fingertip, then around my eyes.

The fact is, I had bought into the little blurbs that accompanied the little bottle and was optimistic that this serum, this, of all the thousands on the market, would finally be the one to make a difference. Each application held the excitement of not only youthful skin but more importantly, of discovering something new. I'd be the one to enlighten the masses, and my girlfriends in their 30s, about this amazing new product.

In fact, having re-read all the marketing materials to write this post, I was sucked in a second time by its lingo and explanations, and went to the mirror one last time to make sure I hadn't seen any results. I was disappointed all over again to discover that no, I hadn't.

If there were a sad, wrinkly emoticon, I'd use it here.

The question remains: is there really a topical cream or serum that's going to make a difference? Personally, I highly doubt it. But it won't keep my from spending my hard-earned money on the prospect that it will. Hope always beats intelligence.

Are you a sucker for anti-aging beauty products?

Chelsea Houska Reveals How She Gets Her Loose Waves in One Step

Post by Nicole Fabian-Weber

chelsea houskaFor those of you who are dying to get Chelsea Houska's beachy, messy, sexy waves, you're in luck. The Teen Mom posted a link to her Twitter that shows exactly how to get her hair. In one step. And there's even a video.

You can stop throwing pennies into fountains, friends. All your wishes are about to come true.

Apparently, another way to get Chelsea's wild waves is to curl hair using a flat iron -- and a flat iron only. We all know Chelsea uses a curling iron -- just the wand part -- to get her signature loose and wavy locks sometimes, but a similar look can be achieved with just a flat iron. The video gives step-by-step instructions on how to get Chelsea's hair, and it really is so easy to do -- even for someone hair-challenged like myself.

All you need to do is take a small section of hair and wrap it around a flat iron, like you would do with a curling iron. Instead of holding your hair in place, twist and pull your hair downward, so hair doesn't get "tight" curls. You want loose and undone here, remember? Repeat throughout the rest of your hair. Boom, done.

Gotta love Chelsea for sharing her hair secrets with the rest of us. We may not be able to create exactly what she's got going on atop of her head, as that's some crazy shite right there. But maybe, with some practice, we can get pretty damn close.

How do you get loose, beachy waves?

Jennifer Aniston Goes Makeup-Free and the Result Is Stunning (PHOTO)

jennifer aniston we're the millers premiereJennifer Aniston's always been the definition of "aspirational." Her skin, her hair, her body (obviously) always seem so flawless, glowy, perfect that we're constantly coveting and/or envying all of those characteristics and more. This has especially been the case as she's gotten up into her mid-40s. It almost seems like she's looking better and better. No wonder magazines love to tease that they've got the secret to her amazing looks. We are always going to EAT THAT UP.

But it also bears noting that plenty of times, we're looking at an airbrushed pic of the woman. Well, not today! Her stylist Chris McMillan posted a photo of him with Jen to Instagram, and the casual snapshot shows Jen in all her bare naked glory. Meaning, without a speck of makeup. Check it out ...

jennifer aniston chris mcmillan Yeah, wow. Glowy, flawless, and just downright gorgeous doesn't even BEGIN to describe her, right? Sheesh! She doesn't even need mascara or high-end, HD foundation to look picture perfect. What a reality check!

Sure, Jen looks amazing on the red carpet, but she's also in couture and totally made-up. Of course she looks incredible on the big screen, but who knows what snazzy tricks have been pulled in post-production? Well, now, we have to face the music that the woman really IS as gorgeous as she appears ... naturally! Which makes her even more enviable. But hey, it's also motivation to eat clean and do lots of yoga!

What do you think about this makeup-free pic of Jen?

Britney Spears' Skin-Tight Church Outfit Would Make God Blush

Post by Kiri Blakeley

Britney SpearsBritney Spears hasn't exactly been known for her classy fashion style throughout the years, so I guess it shouldn't be a huge surprise that she was spotted in Los Angeles over a hot, sunny weekend decked out in her Sunday finest: A skintight turtleneck sweater dress with knee-high suede spiked-heeled boots. What does come as a tiny bit of a shock though is where Brit was headed: To church!

Britney and her latest boyfriend, David Lucado, were spotted in Thousand Oaks, California headed to "religious services" -- though I'm not totally sure what kind. Not with that outfit.

And what's up with the messy overly-bleached hair bun? And that strange X-like design between her boobs?

But back to the dress -- is this what people are wearing to church these days? As I recall, church was a time to wear some kind of modest, flowery concoction.

Though I guess this is modest for Brit. Imagine if she'd walked in in that belly-baring outfit with the snake over her shoulders a la the MTV Video Music Awards.

But those boots? Those are F-me boots. Not Jesus boots. And the skirt was so short I hope she wasn't sitting in the front row or surely even the most stalwart man of God would have a moment or two of disorientation.

And can we talk about the bf for a sec? The vest, the wrinkly chinos, the sneaks? Oof. But at least these two are in sync with their fashion style. They've previously been seen around town looking less than presentable. But still. This is CHURCH.

Oh, but wait. WAIT! Brit was raised Baptist, but then reportedly converted to Kabbalah, a new agey-Judaism based religion/philosophy popular with celebrities, which she was introduced to by (of course!) Madonna. (It had to be Madonna or Demi Moore.)

So Kabbalah probably isn't that concerned with modest dress, because Brit was photographed heading to services in January in a skintight black miniskirt, see-through ruffled blouse, and orange bra.

I'm not even sure God can forgive an orange bra.

Is this outfit appropriate for church? Or anywhere?

6 Ways to Rock the ‘Coated Jeans' Trend but Is It Worth the Crazy Price?

Post by April Daniels Hussar

NYDJ coated denimCoated denim jeans (also known as "waxed denim") are super stylish and just the right amount of edgy to still be wearable for the average person. They have the sexy look of leather jeans, without actually BEING leather jeans, which are just a little too much (and too impracticle) for me -- at least on about 354 days of the year. The drawback? Coated jeans are fairly pricey: You can find bargains, but a quality pair that actually looks they way they're supposed to look (and not just cheap and shiny) is probably going to set you back close to $100. And if you get into the designer arena, think double, triple or quadruple that!

So, is a good pair of coated denim jeans really worth it?

I say, if you can swing it, yes! For one thing, this trend has already been around for a little while, and it's not going anywhere soon, so it's not like you're spending money on something that will look totally outdated by Christmas. For another, they're really flattering and hot looking, without being over the top. And last but not least, they're JUST as versatile as regular denim, if not MORE, so you'll get a lot of use out of them.

Here are some tips on totally rocking your investment:

1. Make sure they fit you really well. The wax coating makes these jeans not as stretchy as most denim is these days, so you won't have as much forgiveness if you size down. The benefit though, is they'll keep their shape really well. Try them on, and don't settle for a pair that you don't love!

Madewell
Madewell skinny ankle coated moto jeans ($135 at Madewell.com)

2. Get over your need for jeans to be ultra-comfy. Yes, sorry to say, but these just won't be as soft and snugly as your favorite, go-to pair of jeans. But that's OK because they look great!

 elie Tahari

Elie Tahari Azella waxed denim jean in "midnight dream" ($228 at elietahari.com)

3.  Dress them down. You can pretty much wear your coated denim jeans in place of a regular pair of jeans, but your whole outfit will be just a little hotter. (And by hot I mean HAWT.) A casual tank top and sandals; a long-sleeved tee with ballet flats; a printed blouse with ankle boots ... all of these would look great with your slick denim for a slightly revved up but still casual look.

Victoria Beckham coated denim

Victoria Beckham "stovepipe" jean with a "slight wax finish" (Marked down to $194.40 from $317.34! Um, yay?)

4. Dress them up! Take the same pair of coated denim, add a pair of sparkly high heels or sexy sling-backs and a slinky top, and you're ready for va-va-va voom date night.

waxed G by Guess

BARGAIN! These G by GUESS Women's Suzette Coated Black Jeans are on sale for $34 at Amazon. They could be our steal!

5. Wear them to the office. Unless you have a really, super strict corporate dress code, you can wear coated denim jeans to more than just casual Friday. A sharp pair of coated denim black jeans  will look sleek and put-together with a blouse, blazer, and low heels.

6. Go for (muted) color. These NYDJ "Sheri Skinny" coated denim jeans in oxblood are on my fall wish list. SO on trend and chic. ($130 at NYDJ.com)

What do you think about the coated jean trend? Can you see yourself in a pair?

'Bachelorette' Desiree Hartsock's Engagement Gown Was Her Best Look Yet

Post by Maressa Brown

desiree hartsock with finace chris siegfriedAfter last night's Bachelorette season finale, we can't stop discussing how Desiree Hartsock ended up with Chris Siegfried after professing her love for Brooks Forester. But that's not the only thing worth buzzing about! How about the gorgeous, cream tulle mermaid Randi Rahm "Amanda" gown she wore during the proposal?!

I have to admit ... Even though Des is a professional bridal stylist with an eye for fashion, I haven't been a fan of every look she's sported throughout the season. Some have looked downright '90s prom, including her high-necked silver premiere dress. But there were also moments when she hit it out of the park -- like in that incredible, vibrant royal blue gown she designed and wore on the third episode -- and I actually really dug the colorful, island-couture top and shorts she wore when she was breaking up with Drew last night! But her finale gown was a unquestionably a HIT. Not to mention that it was so fitting.

When we first saw the Swarovski-appliqued gown hanging in her closet, we should have known she was going to say yes to his proposal! It was the closest you can get to bridal without being a poufy white dress!

I actually know a bride who wore that color at her June wedding this year ... And my bridesmaids' dresses had exactly the same one-shoulder, tulle-draped-over-a-sweetheart-neckline bodice. So it's no wonder that standing side-by-side after Chris popped the question and Des accepted, the two looked ready to walk down the aisle -- or like they already had!

When the time to say "I do" finally comes, Des may be wearing one of her own designs. And I'd say more power to her for that, but she definitely has one challenge ahead of her ... outdoing her engagement look!

What do you think of Des's finale gown? How do you think her wedding dress should differ from this?

'RHOBH' Yolanda Foster Looks Unbelievable in a Bikini and No Makeup (PHOTO)

yolanda fosterYolanda Foster's home-grown lemons aren't the only thing she ought to brag about. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently posted a bikini photo to a private photo journal Twitter, and Christ on a cracker, she looks good. It's hard to believe Foster is 49. The woman doesn't look a day over 33. What's your secret, Yo-Yo?

Well, actually, maybe a more appropriate question for Foster would be: "Do you mind lending me a million dollars so I can look like you?" We all know Foster takes her health and her appearance very seriously. Throughout the entire past season of RHOBH, she was cleansing, running, squatting, drinking weird drinks, etc. Yolanda is without question a gorgeous woman, but no doubt it takes a lot of money to look that good. And hey, you'd probably look that stunning, too, if you were on a gorgeous beach in Puerto Rico without a care in the world.

Yolanda, whatever you're doing, keep doing it. You look stunning. And, seriously, can I borrow a million dollars? Okay, fine, $500 grand. I'm good for it, I swear. No? Okay, that's cool.

How fantastic does Yolanda Foster look?

What's the Deal With Beauty Oils? 6 Great Ones to Try

Post by April Daniels Hussar

beauty oilsWhen I first heard about "beauty oils", I'll confess I was more than a bit skeptical. I mean, doesn't it seem weird to put OIL on your face? I don't have super oily skin, but I do have that tricky t-zone area, and I tend to equate "oil" with "grease." Oh, how wrong I was! Beauty oils are really fabulous -- I've been trying a lot lately and I love them.

There are products for every skin type, and many beauty oils are multi-purpose. For your face, you can use them instead of moisturizer or before your moisturizer, and/or as a primer for a really smooth skin surface for foundation. Some beauty oils are also great for your body (as an ultra hydrating moisturizer or a bath oil), for your hands (great for cuticles!), and still others you can also use in your hair. Then of course there are some products targeted for very specific purposes. They can be pricey, but a little bit really goes a long way. Here are some of the best ones on the market ...

FOR FACE:L'Oreal beauty oilL’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Glow Renewal Facial Oil is made with a blend of eight lightweight, fast absorbing oils. julianne mooreNot all of us are born with giant, Kardashian-esque lashes. In fact, the Kardashians weren't even born with giant, Kardashian-esque lashes. Most celebs, even when they're going for a natural look, sport false eyelashes or lash extensions 99% of the time we see them. And let me tell you, false lashes go a long way.

Check out these 5 celebs without their fake eyelashes. It's crazy what a big difference something so small makes.

Do you wear fake lashes ever?

Kendall and Kylie Jenner Ditched the Kardashian Sisters' Style in a Big Way -- With Kanye's Help!

Post by Maressa Brown

kendall kylie jennerKendall and Kylie Jenner may be referred to as "Kardashians," but they seem more and more interested in striking out on their own and proving that, nope, sorry, they're not to be confused for their older half-sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe. Especially in matters of style!

The teen sisters spoke with the website Fashionista about their clothing line for PacSun and new jewelry line for Nordstrom, confessing that they didn't ask for any business or design advice from their older sisters. "We didn't want much input from them, just because we wanted this to be all us. This isn't their jewelry line. It's ours. We don't want their input on it. We didn't need it. We know what we're talking about for the most part," Kendall told the site. Aww! Good for them!

But that doesn't mean they didn't seek any advice from anyone in their family. They actually consulted a man who has one foot in hip-hop and the other in haute couture ... Kanye!

Kylie explained:

He's such a creative person and he's really cool and it's, like, very cool to have him in the family now. He's such a nice guy. A couple of days ago, I was in the kitchen and so was he, and I was just talking about my clothing line and how excited I was and he was like, "Your clothing line -- I can help you and design. We can do this!" ... Like, whatever, because he's just kind of about taking over the world with fashion pretty much, and that's really inspiring.

I'm not at all surprised that these two were fascinated by their sister's baby daddy. Even though he sounds like he can be a total jerk (to paparazzi and Taylor Swift), I'm guessing he can also be a complete sweetheart to those willing to hear him talk about world domination! Ha. But no, really, it makes sense that they'd pick his brain for some ideas. He definitely has a passion for fashion. He probably could steer them in the right direction.

What's more, he's in the perfect position to help them because he's ... NOT Kim! Or Kourtney or Khloe or even Kris Jenner. The girls obviously want to stop living in their older female relatives' shadows, and who could blame 'em? They've already proven they have an interest in and eye for fashion, setting themselves apart style-wise at already such a young age. Why shouldn't they be able to break out on their own? I personally can't wait to see what they come out with!

What would you guess Kylie and Kendall's clothing and jewelry lines will look like ... especially if Kanye helped influence their style?

Post by April Daniels Hussar

Printed fabric is a huge trend these days, but it can be a little daunting to make a purchase if you're used to wearing solids. A pretty blouse like this Gap printed cap-sleeve top in blue floral ($44.95 at Gap) is actually super versatile and can be worn with so many different outfits. It's also a very flattering shape: Hitting just below your hips, it'll look good un-tucked, tucked in, or partially tucked in!

Take a look at these three very different looks, from a dressy summery lunchensemble to a cozy look for a cool fall day ...

1. Summery lunch date - a flattering pair of four-inch inseam shorts, some neutral accessories, and a flash of color:

LOFT rinse wash cotton denim shorts ($34.99 plus 60% off at LOFT.com); Nine West "Reelymind" wedge sandals ($59.99 at Piperlime.com); gold & white statement necklace ($28.50 at Torrid.com); laser cut clutch with chain shoulder strap ($59.95 at SoleSociety.com); Essie "Vermillionaire" ($8 at Essie.com)

2. Night out in the city - the chartreuse detail on the shoes adds a bit of the unexpected to this edgy but wearable look:

Line and Dot pleated trousers ($98 at Piperlime.com); EXPRESS graphic quilt clutch ($29.90 at Express.com); ASOS "head turner" heeled sandal ($67.88 at ASOS.com); Cara Link & Leather double wrap bracelet ($38 at Nordstrom.com)

3. Cozy casual - fall days are ahead, and this top will transition right along with you:

Dorothy Perkins mid wash distressed boyfriend jeans (on sale for $21 at DorothyPerkins.com), Pretty Piped cardigan in grey melange ($78 at BodenUSA.com); Sole Society "Addison" ankle booties ($69.95 at SoleSociety.com); Kate Spade "Apple of My Eye" stud earrings ($48 at KateSpade.com)
