Not sure if you happened to get a good hard look at the engagement ring Chris Siegfried presented Desiree Hartsock with during The Bachelorette finale, but let me just tell you, it's gorgeous. The ring, which was designed by the only person who designs rings in Hollywood, apparently, Neil Lane, features a 4-carat cushion cut diamond with more than 200 little diamonds on the platinum and rose gold band.
Rose gold on an engagement ring, or any ring for that matter? Hell to the yeah.
Every engagement ring is beautiful in its own right, because, at the risk of sounding cheesy, it's a symbol of two people's love. But there's something about a rose gold ring that's just so damn pretty. It's not as in-your-face as an all-platinum and diamond ring (although Des' ring is pretty in-your-face), and it's different. I feel like every piece of jewelry I've admired lately has been rose gold. I'm yet to buy a piece for myself, as I'd rather eat and have a roof over my head, but it really is quite beautiful.
So glad the producers of The Bachelorette Chris went with a ring that's a little more unique this season. It looks stunning on Desiree's finger -- where hopefully it will stay.
What do you think of Desiree's engagement ring?
